Application:
The thimbles are placed inside the loop made of wire at the end. It protects the wire against abrasion and, in the case of rigid cables, against excessive crushing by giving this loop the desired shape. It may be used for metal, plastic or plant ropes. There is a gutter along the entire length of the thimble, into which the wire enters to about 2/3 of its diameter. The wire can surround the thimble and be clamped, on return, to the rest of the rope, or the thimble can be enmeshed in the rope. The installation and removal of thimbles is extremely easy and quick
